The Stobrimore Chronicles - Pronunciation Guide

For the most part, I've tried to make all of the names and locations within The Stobrimore Chronicles fairly easy to pronounce, but just in case, I thought it might help readers to include a a handy pronunciation guide.

The full-caps indicate which syllable has the emphasis.


  1. Stobrimore [STO-bri-more] (STO, like"Stone", bri, like"brick", and more, like... well "more"

  2. Vedyria [Ved-DEER-ree-ah]

  3. Lia [LEE-ah]

  4. Crescia [CRESS-see-ah]

  5. Alivair [AL-live-air]

  6. Rhandor [RAN-door]

  7. Fyn [Fin]

  8. Nyl [Nill] (like Dill)

  9. Zavyra [Zah-VEER-ah]

  10. Daven [DAV-en] "Dav" like "have"

  11. Liandra [LEE-an-drah]

  12. Bilen [BILL-en]

  13. Zanovya [Zan-NO-vee-ah]
